Donovan Stewart
Senior Pastor
 
Pastor Donovan was raised in Parkersburg WV. He attended Marshall University in Huntington WV for college. In 2000 he moved to Lexington to enter the Lexington Police Department Training Academy. Pastor Donovan worked 5 ½ years on patrol in downtown Lexington, KY and was then appointed to serve as the full time Department Police Chaplain in July of 2006. Pastor Donovan has completed Bible College and Seminary work through Liberty University, Andersonville Theological Seminary and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Donovan has had the privilege of serving various local churches in numerous leadership capacities over his many years of ministry. He is now excited and grateful to plant and pastor The Mission Church of Lexington. Pastor Donovan has a wonderful wife (Becky) and 2 amazing children (Marshall and Reagan).

Randall Combs
Mission Students Pastor
 
Pastor Randall was raised in Beattyville, KY. He attended Eastern Kentucky University majoring in Police Administration. Pastor Randall also served 6 years in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer. In 2005, Randall and his family moved to Lexington to enter the Lexington Police Department’s training academy. From there, he served 7 years on patrol and 3 years as a detective. In 2015, Randall was promoted to Sergeant and now serves in the agency’s Traffic Section. Pastor Randall also attended Asbury University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership & Ministry in 2014 and is currently attending Liberty University’s School of Divinity working toward completing his Master’s degree in Biblical Exposition. Pastor Randall has had the privilege of serving other local churches in both a student pastor and campus pastor role. Pastor Randall has a wonderful wife (Paula) who serves as a school nurse in Woodford County and three awesome children (Hannah, Emma, and Jake). Pastor Randall’s mission statement is from 2nd Peter 3:18 “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.”
 
 
 
Becky Stewart
Mission Kids Director/Adminastrative Assistant
 
Becky Stewart is our Mission Kids Team Leader. She has worked in children’s and youth ministry for 18 years. She has a Bachelors of Arts in Education from Marshall University. She has been a school teacher for 9 years and is currently a substitute teacher at Trinity Christian Academy. Becky’s life verse is: Psalm 28:7, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise Him.”
