Jeffery Honchell
Worship Pastor

“Praise The Lord! Sing to Him a new song, And His praise in the assembly of saints” Psalm 149:1 I believe God planted the desire to sing joyful praises in all of our hearts… but I think I went back for a second helping when He was handing out the desire for joyful praise and worship. I just love lifting praises to our Lord Jesus Christ in song. I’ve been told I often have a big smile on my face when I am leading in worship but I don’t think I can sing praises about God or to God without getting excited. I have been blessed to serve in ministry for over 30 years; as a Worship Leader for Adult, Youth and Children’s ministries, as a guitar player, vocalist, actor in dramatic productions, Vacation Bible School leader, and even as a teacher of Evangelism and Discipleship. As much as I love music my greatest joys have come from the times I have been privileged to be a part of leading someone to a relationship with Christ as Lord of their life. There is nothing like seeing a life changed by coming to know Christ as Savior and Lord. Along my journey God equipped me with Godly parents to guide and support me and later with my Godly wife, Pamula to encourage and love me through life’s challenges. If this wasn’t enough, God blessed me even further with a loving church family at The Mission Church of Lexington. No matter where you are in your “journey” I know you’ll find The Mission Church is a place where you can become valuable part of God’s family and take your next spiritual step of obedience in following God’s plan for your life. I look forward to seeing you here.

Pastor Randall has a wonderful wife who serves as a school nurse in Woodford County and three awesome children. Sandra Fulton
Mission Kids Director

Growing up as a preacher’s kid in Central Texas, Sandra has been involved in children’s ministry from an early age. She gave her life to Jesus at age 11 and her love for ministering and caring for kids began in those early years. She has served as bus captain in the bus ministry, worked in puppet ministry and Vacation Bible Schools and taught Sunday School classes as well as Children’s Church. Sandra’s passion is to allow God to work mightily through her with Mission Kids and Junior Mission Kids, desiring that others would know that only God could accomplish what is done and to Him be all the glory. Sandra serves at The Mission Church of Lexington alongside her husband and best friend, Ken. God has blessed them with three sons, a daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Jane (Sandra’s delight and joy bringer). Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
